Cakes is a generative art piece that pays homage to the American painter, Wayne Thiebaud.

Built from scratch in p5.js, I wanted to challenge myself to build the piece fully in code without importing any images. Cakes procedurally generates cakes of varying designs to fill the space. Cakes was expanded upon to be projected in the EDA at The Broad Art Center at UCLA to imagine it in an exhibition space.
